PIO E-mail Listserver

The Public Information Officers List is for PIOs in emergency services, be they paid or volunteer professionals. Through the PIO list you can communicate with colleagues across the Internet-world to discuss issues, problems and solutions.

An e-mail listserver works like this: You send your e-mail message to a central address, which then forwards it to all the list's subscribers. They in turn can reply, to that same address, and everyone can read their reply. Sort of like having all those PIOs around a table in one room!

Here's how to subscribe:

Send email ***EXACTLY*** as follows:
To:  LISTSERV@LISTSERV.AOL.COM
Subject: None
Message: SUBSCRIBE PIO

Unsubscribe instructions for Public Information Officers List

Once you receive your subscription confirmation by e-mail, take a moment to send an e-mail introducing yourself to the other subscribers!
